Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for 36416 Atrium Health Pineville – Respiratory Therapy Services: Ballantyne. The role requires handling oxygen delivery systems, ventilators, and patient care in a fast-paced setting. Night shifts, 12 hours, with a sign-on bonus opportunity.

Candidates should be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC; an Associate's degree is required and a BA/BS is preferred. 36 hours per week with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required; BA/BS preferred.
• RRT credential and state licensure required; BLS for healthcare providers.
• 2 years critical care experience preferred for ER, or new grads with RRT credentials are eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and related equipment.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and conducts prescribed therapies.
• Operates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes plans of care recommendations.
• Documents therapy and results; communicates with healthcare team.
• Assesses and adjusts respiratory care in emergencies; performs blood sampling analysis.
