Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in Respiratory Care/Cardiopulmonary Science.
• License in Respiratory Therapy and Registration; Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Work includes on-call, weekends and off-shifts as needed.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and interpret medical data for therapy decisions.
• Develop or modify respiratory care plans and advise physicians.
• Serve as a role model for students and health care team in procedures.
• Act as Team Leader during shifts when management is not onsite.
• Attend internal/external meetings to maintain clinical competence.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and education plans.
• Apply clinical research findings to improve patient care.
