Job summary

Freeman Health seeks a Respiratory Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with cardiac or pulmonary conditions. You will analyze clinical data, develop care plans, and manage ventilator systems within protocol guidelines.

The role requires NBRC-registered RRT, Missouri licensure, and readiness to participate in advanced life-support protocols. A proactive team player is essential for our Freeman Respiratory Therapy team.

Qualifications

Schedule: Full-time (36 hours per week)

What You'll Do

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients with Cardiac or Pulmonary disorders. Obtains, analyzes and correlates patient clinical data and makes recommendations and / or implements care plan. Manages complex patient / ventilator systems within protocol guidelines. Anticipates crises and complications and performs or recommends appropriate interventions. Works independently within departmental guidelines.

Requirements

• Currently registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) though the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

• Licensed as an RCP in Missouri.

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred

• PALS Provider preferred.

• ECMO experience

• S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner

• AHA ACLS within 180 days.

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

Preferred Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
