Job summary

Freeman Health is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with cardiac or pulmonary disorders. You will work with a skilled team to optimize ventilator management and tailor care plans to individual needs.

Missouri-licensed RCP required; NBRC RRT registration preferred. Weekend 12-hour shifts are available, with day or overnight options depending on staffing and patient needs.

Schedule:

• Weekend Option: 12-hour shifts, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Day shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Overnight shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

What You'll Do

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients with Cardiac or Pulmonary disorders. Obtains, analyzes and correlates patient clinical data and makes recommendations and / or implements care plan. Manages complex patient / ventilator systems within protocol guidelines. Anticipates crises and complications and performs or recommends appropriate interventions. Works independently within departmental guidelines. Works weekends.

Requirements

Licensed as an RCP in Missouri.

Preferred Requirements

Licensed as an RCP in Missouri and currently registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
