Job summary

Freeman Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with cardiac or pulmonary disorders. You will analyze patient data and implement care plans, while managing complex ventilator systems and anticipating crises within department protocols.

The role requires NBRC-registered RRT, Missouri licensure, and timely ACLS/BLS completion; neonatal resuscitation and pediatric care experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC.
• Licensed as an RCP in Missouri.
• NRP preferred.
• PALS Provider preferred.
• ECMO experience.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner.
• ACLS within 180 days.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with Cardiac or Pulmonary disorders.
• Obtain, analyze and correlate patient data to guide care plans.
• Manage complex ventilator systems within protocol guidelines.
• Anticipate crises and interventions; act independently within guidelines.

Schedule: Full-time (36 hours per week)

What You'll Do

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients with Cardiac or Pulmonary disorders. Obtains, analyzes and correlates patient clinical data and makes recommendations and / or implements care plan. Manages complex patient / ventilator systems within protocol guidelines. Anticipates crises and complications and performs or recommends appropriate interventions. Works independently within departmental guidelines.

Requirements

• Currently registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) though the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).


• Licensed as an RCP in Missouri.


• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred


• PALS Provider preferred.


• ECMO experience


• S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner


• AHA ACLS within 180 days.


• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

Preferred Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
