Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and to monitor patient responses throughout treatment and testing. The role requires a valid Arkansas licensure and an RRT credential.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Arkansas by the Board of Medicine.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certificate.
• Current BLS or obtain within 7 days of hire.
• 0–3 years of respiratory experience in healthcare.
• Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program with a diploma or AAS degree.

What You'll Do

Responsible for the administration of pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures necessary to implement treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitative, or diagnostic regime prescribed by a physician. Proper assessment, observation and monitoring of signs and symptoms, general behavior, and general physical response to respiratory care treatments and diagnostic testing.

Requirements

• Licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice in the State of Arkansas
• Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate
• Current BLS or required within 7 days of hire
• 0-3 Years of respiratory experience in a healthcare setting
• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program with a Diploma or AAS Degree
