Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in North Carolina; NBRC credential (RRT) or CRT with eligibility considerations.
• Certifications: ACLS/NRP/PALS or advanced practice credentials as required by clinical area.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Administers standard respiratory care including aerosols, oxygen, and arterial punctures.
• Manages airway support including tracheostomy care and intubations/extubations.
• May be on-call on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Under supervision, supports ventilator care and patient monitoring; educates staff.
