Job summary

The Respiratory Therapist II role requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, NBRC certification, and two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current NBRC certification requirements (RRT or CRT) with applicable credentials.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS or CPFT or other certifications as required by practice area.

Responsibilities

• Administers standard Respiratory Care, including aerosol medication delivery and oxygen therapy.
• Manages airway care, including tracheostomy care, intubations, and extubations.
• Operates ventilators and monitors patient response, adjusting settings as needed.
• May be on-call on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintains knowledge and serves as a clinical resource to staff.
