Job summary

Kindred Hospital Westminster is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver safe respiratory care, monitor mechanical ventilation, and perform patient assessments with a focus on adult and geriatric care. You will work under physician orders, coordinate with the care team, and participate in ongoing education and patient teaching.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program (Certificate/Diploma/Program Grad) required.
• An Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required.
• RCP license in California (Upon Hire) required; CRT/RRT preferred.
• BCLS and ACLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders across hospital areas.
• Manage oxygen delivery, airway care, and mechanical ventilation.
• Document and code respiratory care procedures accurately for patient plans of care.
• Assist in bronchoscopy procedures and ABG sampling/analysis as directed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and nurse/physician communications.
