Job summary

Valley Health seeks a Respiratory Therapist I to join our team on the third shift. You will assess patients across neonatal to geriatric ages, administer therapies, and monitor response to treatment as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. A licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and NBRC credentials are required, along with BLS certification. Strong communication and calmness under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program in Respiratory Care is required.
• Strong motivational, time management, and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work under stress and in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Administers all therapy modalities per physician orders and protocols.
• Performs SpO2 monitoring and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Operates ventilators and non-invasive ventilation equipment.
• Participates in rapid response and trauma activations as needed.
• Provides patient education and participates in multidisciplinary rounds.
