Job summary

Valley Health in Front Royal, VA seeks a Respiratory Therapist II to join the Respiratory Therapy department on a third shift. The role involves patient assessments, administering therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

Candidates must have an accredited Respiratory Care program, NBRC CRT or RRT, and valid RCP licensure; BLS and ACLS are required. Proficiency in EHR and ventilator support is expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited educational program for Respiratory Care is required.
• NBRC CRT or RRT certification required.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS recommended/required.
• Experience in respiratory therapy settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers all therapy modalities per physician orders.
• Performs SpO2 monitoring and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Operates ventilators and non-invasive ventilation.
• Documentation and communication with care team at shift end.
• Responds to rapid response, code, and trauma activations as needed.
