Job summary

Accendra Health in the United States is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform home visits, set up oxygen and ventilation equipment, and educate patients and caregivers. You will collaborate with physicians, case managers, and branch teams to ensure high-quality care while maintaining thorough documentation.

The role blends office and field work, with an emphasis on patient-facing clinical skills and independent workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active RCP license in the state(s) covered by location.
• CPR certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and maintenance.
• Document care delivered and escalate concerns as needed.
• Respond to discharge requests and support patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and branch teams.
• Set up and operate respiratory equipment including NIV, oxygen, nebulization.
• Perform clinical assessments and gather vital signs.
