Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a blended office/field role across southwestern Pennsylvania, with travel up to OH & VA. You will educate patients, set up oxygen and PAP equipment, document care, and coordinate with physicians and case managers.

The position requires PA RT licensure, CPR, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to obtain OH/VA licenses if needed. Expect a 50/50 office/road schedule and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active PA RT license.
• OH & VA RT license is a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull 10–50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow-ups.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment including oxygen, nebulization, PAP, and ventilation.
• Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop.
