Job summary

Accendra Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to deliver in-home and branch-based care, with a focus on patient education and safe transitions from hospital to home. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• NBRC registration and active RT license in practice state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to stand, lift and assist patients as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow-ups.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs.
• Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment, including oxygen therapy, nebulization, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, and ventilation.
