Qualifications

• RT 1: NBRC licensure (RRT/CRT) required; new grads welcome.
• RT 2: 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience; NBRC license; BLS; 6 months as RT1 at BRH.
• RT 3: 3 years of recent clinical experience; NBRC license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, TEAM/CPI.

Responsibilities

• RT 1: supports basic therapeutic and diagnostic procedures under supervision; assists with oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, monitoring.
• RT 2: provides independent respiratory care across age groups; ventilator management and emergency response.
• RT 3: acts as clinical expert and mentor; precepts RT staff and students; leads education and quality initiatives.
