This position is based in a 22-bed acute care hospital with a connected 28-bed long-term care facility in a scenic coastal Alaska community. The environment is clean, organized, and team-oriented, supporting a broad range of patient needs across departments including ICU, ER, Family Birthing, and observation units.
Staff may be exposed to infectious diseases, airborne particles, bodily fluids, and moving equipment, and must observe strict safety protocols to mitigate hazards.
Although most work is performed indoors, occasional exposure to radiation, caustic chemicals, and electrical equipment is possible, and noise levels may vary from quiet to moderate. Flexible scheduling is expected.
