Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Alaska team. The role provides respiratory care and performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing across diverse clinical settings.

You will assess patient response, collaborate with physicians, and support chill care plans while contributing to a high-performing respiratory care unit in Fairbanks.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required.
• NBRC-Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist credential.
• Current state license and BCLS required.
• 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed.
• Manage and adjust mechanical ventilators in collaboration with physicians.
• Assemble, operate, calibrate and maintain durable medical equipment.
• Conduct pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed.
• Assess patients and document responses to therapy; modify plans as needed.
• Communicate with care teams to develop and adjust care plans.
• Oversee daily workflow and act as resource for staff.
