Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time role on a 72-hour payroll period, with 7a–7p shifts. You will provide respiratory care per physician orders in a busy hospital setting and support patient assessment and therapy planning.

Required are an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s preferred), Michigan RT license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Respiratory Therapy; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Michigan RT license required.
• RRT certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Site-specific certs within 1 year if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy per physician orders and established policies.
• Routinely evaluate and interpret ABGs and adjust therapy accordingly.
• Communicate findings and therapy plans to providers and nursing staff.
• Assist with airway management and procedures within competency.
• Perform bedside pulmonary function testing and monitoring as required.
