Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or higher.
• Michigan Respiratory Therapist license required.
• RRT credentials within 1 year for hires after 2004.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as site requires.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care per physician orders and protocols.
• Evaluate blood gases and tailor therapy accordingly.
• Communicate findings and plans with providers and nursing staff.
• Maintain equipment and safety per department policies.
• Educate patients and families about therapies.
