Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings. You will manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, arterial blood gases, and educate patients while collaborating with healthcare teams.

The role requires 0–2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care, current RRT licensure, and CPR certifications. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with science coursework.
• 0–2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Current licensure and certifications including Registered Respiratory Therapist, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and instructor certifications.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent patient and customer service, documentation, and education
• Performing assessments, verifying orders, administering therapies, and managing ventilators
• Ensuring safety through accurate charting, medication safety, and adherence to protocols
• Supporting performance improvement and evidence-based practices
• Assisting with invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics
• Contributing to staff development and patient support, considering population-specific needs
