Select Specialty Hospital Greensboro is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team on the 5th floor of Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

This full-time dayshift position runs 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with a compensation range of $33.43 to $45.00 per hour based on experience. The role involves evaluating patients, providing respiratory care, managing endotracheal tubes, and contributing to quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential required.
• Graduation proof: college transcript/diploma preferred or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
