A critical illness recovery hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide high-level care to critically ill patients. This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an extensive onboarding program to ensure successful integration into the team. The successful candidate will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, and educate families. A current CRT or RRT credential and BLS certification are required, with ACLS certification needed within six months.

Qualificações

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Location: Durham, NC

Schedule: 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Compensation: $31.08 to $41.00 per hour

Sign-on bonus: $10,000

• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
