Select Specialty Hospital San Antonio Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, and participate in clinical leadership initiatives. The position offers full-time days and nights with competitive compensation and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and determining an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to critically ill patients.
• Inserting and removing endotracheal tubes as needed.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients and families.

Schedule: Full Time Days and Nights are available
Compensation: $32.69 to $44.00 per hour based on experience plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends
Sign-on bonus: $20,000.00

• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
