Job summary

Select Medical's respiratory therapy team in Wyandotte, MI is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts. You will evaluate patients, provide critical respiratory care, manage airway procedures, and contribute to quality improvement while counseling families.

This role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus, extensive orientation, tuition reimbursement, a clinical ladder, generous PTO, and a 401(k) plan. State licensure and ACLS within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: transcript/diploma or GED.
• Current state licensure is required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care for patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.

Schedule: Full Time NightsCompensation: $31.96 to $43.00 per hour based on experience+ competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
