Job summary

Cranberry Place in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care to residents and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

The RT will perform assessments, administer treatments, and educate residents and families while documenting progress and ensuring safety. Night shift is 6pm-6am, on-site at Cranberry Place.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license.
• RRT credential preferred/required as applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services based on each resident's care plan and clinical needs.
• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor residents for changes in respiratory status.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered.
• Provide oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, suctioning, and other respiratory care services as appropriate.
• Monitor, maintain, and properly utilize respiratory equipment.
• Educate residents and families regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management.
• Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare professionals to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Accurately document respiratory assessments, treatments, and resident responses.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Follow all facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
