Elevate Care South Holland is seeking a passionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. You will provide comprehensive respiratory care to residents, manage ventilators, and deliver education to patients and families to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Clinical experience in respiratory care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Patient-centered approach with compassion and empathy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions.
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators.
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the healthcare team.
• Track progress, document outcomes, and report changes.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies.
