Qualifications

• Must hold an active Respiratory Therapist license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in a clinical respiratory care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Care Management – assess, treat, monitor patients and administer oxygen therapy and inhaled meds.
• Ventilator Management – set up, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators for patients on ventilation.
• Patient Education – educate patients and families about respiratory care and techniques.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Team – work with physicians, nurses and others to create care plans.
• Monitor and Record Data – track progress, document outcomes, communicate changes.
• Emergency Response – respond promptly to respiratory emergencies.
