Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of respiratory care principles and equipment.
• Ability to coordinate with physicians and caregivers.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as requested.

Responsibilities

• Document orders for respiratory equipment and services from referrals and physicians.
• Assess customer needs and select appropriate equipment/services with customer involvement.
• Act as liaison between company and customer, family, and health care staff.
• Instruct customers on use and care of equipment and educate about oxygen therapy.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physician and adjust Plan of Care accordingly.
• Complete customer accounts paperwork and discharge plans for respiratory customers as needed.
