Job summary

Memorial Health System seeks a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a fast-paced environment. You will assess patients, implement and monitor therapy, perform ABG analysis, and participate in discharge planning and education for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Licensed respiratory therapist with active Ohio license.
• 1 year prior experience preferred in acute care settings.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory needs by interviewing patients and reviewing data to plan care.
• Initiate, supervise, and evaluate therapeutic procedures and adjust plans for outcomes.
• Perform ABG draws, analyses, and maintain quality control and equipment.
• Assist in discharge planning including NIV, BiPAP, oxygen therapy.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; ensure documentation and billing accuracy.
• Participate in rounds, committees, and quality/safety initiatives.
