Job summary

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to deliver high-quality respiratory care to residents in a supportive, team-focused environment. You will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor conditions, and collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize care.

The role requires Massachusetts licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, CRT or RRT credential, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license required.
CRT or RRT credential required.
BLS/CPR certification required.
Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program required.

Responsibilities

Assess residents' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and other prescribed respiratory services.
Provide tracheostomy care and support residents with complex respiratory needs.
Monitor residents' progress and promptly report changes to the interdisciplinary team.
Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure proper operation.
Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and equipment.
Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
Follow all infection-control policies and procedures.
