Job summary

Tuality Healthcare in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our patient care team. You will plan, deliver, and evaluate respiratory therapy services per physician orders, including diagnostic testing and treatments.

The role requires Oregon licensure and NBRC registration, BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP within six months. Minimum six months of critical respiratory care preferred; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Highest science-related diploma or transcript required upon hire.
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Minimum six months experience in critical respiratory care.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in Oregon; NBRC registered.
• BLS required within 90 days; ACLS/PALS/NRP within six months.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs respiratory diagnostic testing including stress treadmill testing and EKGs.
• Delivers respiratory treatments per orientation checklist and departmental procedures.
• Administers respiratory medications following hospital policies.
• Documents assessments, treatments and medications accurately.
• Provides CPR as part of the Code Blue team.
• Maintains emergency resuscitation equipment and other equipment.
• Helps maintain a clean, safe work environment and reports safety hazards.
• Assists in maintaining respiratory therapy supplies in department and care areas.
• Participates in evaluation of new procedures and equipment.
• Adheres to PHI confidentiality and patient information policies.
• Collaborates with physicians and health-team members on care plans.
