Job summary

Samaritan Health Services Respiratory Therapy team delivers treatment and diagnostic care to patients of all ages, following physician orders and approved protocols. The role supports assessment, diagnostics, therapeutics, and education within cardiopulmonary care.

Required NBRC-RRT and Oregon license, plus BLS on hire and ACLS within 90 days. Two years of clinical experience preferred; PALS/NRP within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT registration required.
• Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required on hire.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Two years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
• AGH Respiratory Therapy requires PALS within 90 days and NRP within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and approved protocols.
• Assess and educate patients and families on therapy and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate cardiopulmonary care and monitoring.
