Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver a range of respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures for adults and neonates. You will perform ABG, PFTs, and ventilator support under supervision, with emphasis on assessment and patient safety.

The role requires Texas licensure, NBRC registration, BLS/ACLS, and within one year of hire, NRP/PNR. Minimum 6 months of experience in respiratory care is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support— must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.

Responsabilités

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration and weaning, aerosol and humidity therapy, IPPB, incentive spirometry, airway maintenance, bronchial hygiene, chest physiotherapy, CPR and mechanical ventilation.
