Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Adult, Pediatric, and Infant experience preferred.
• Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS) required.
• New York State Respiratory Therapist License required.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transportation of incubated patients with emphasis on maintaining airways and providing ventilation and oxygenation.
• Assess modalities of respiratory therapy and recommend changes.
• Deliver respiratory care using appropriate equipment and ventilation strategies.
• Collaborate with care teams to shorten patient length of stay.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
