NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time day shift in New York, NY. You will assist in transporting incubated patients, maintain airways, and optimize ventilation and oxygenation while assessing respiratory modalities and recommending improvements in care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, ACLS, BCLS, and NY license with experience across adult, pediatric and infant patients.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Adult, Pediatric and Infant experience.
• Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS).
• New York State Respiratory Therapist License and Basic Life Support Certification (BCLS).

Respiratory Therapists assist in the transportation of incubated patients with the special emphasis on maintaining airways and providing adequate ventilation and oxygenation. Assess modalities of respiratory therapy and recommend changes, including improvements appropriate to the delivery of respiratory care.

• Bachelor's degree
• Adult, Pediatric, and Infant experience
• Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS)

• American Medical Association College Program Graduate
• New York State Respiratory Therapist License
• Basic Life Support Certification (BCLS)
• Working knowledge of current standards of mechanical ventilation, and ventilators
