Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to join our Respiratory Care team. You will perform respiratory therapies, pulmonary diagnostics, and patient assessments under the direction of the Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary Director.

Required Alabama RCP license, NBRC RRT/CRT certification, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a High School Diploma. 12-hour day shifts with a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates; full-time employment with

Qualifications

• Valid Alabama RCP license is required.
• NBRC RRT/CRT certification is required or in process.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications must be current at hire.
• HS diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inhalation and oxygen therapies and aerosolized medications.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and ABG analysis.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust ventilators and life-support equipment.
• Participate in rapid response and airway management as needed.
• Assess respiratory status and adjust treatment plans.
• Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned, sterilized and maintained.
