Job summary

Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide advanced respiratory care under physician orders. You will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor responses, and document outcomes to support high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of acute care experience, hold an RRT credential with BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• RRT credential and BCLS/ACLS/PALS; NRP required for NICU work.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Skilled in ventilator management and airway maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Performs ABG punctures and documents results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Maintains equipment and ensures safety standards compliance.
• Documents care in EMR accurately and thoroughly.
