Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) role in Columbus. The position features a day shift (7a–7p) with every other weekend and holiday rotation, offering competitive benefits based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program is required.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist by NBCRT and current Ohio license to practice respiratory care are required.
• AHA BLS certification is required; additional certifications (PALS/NRP) may be required after hire.

Responsabilités

• Promote optimal cardiopulmonary function and health.
• Assess, educate, and treat patients with cardiopulmonary needs and develop care plans.
• Provide Respiratory Care under medical direction across the health care continuum.
• Communicate patient needs to the care team and participate in quality improvement.
