Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to promote optimum cardiopulmonary function and patient outcomes. You will apply scientific principles to prevent, identify, and treat cardiopulmonary dysfunction under medical direction.

The role requires 32 or 40 hours per week, day shift, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. A strong focus on family-centered care and adherence to evidence-based guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current Ohio license to practice respiratory care.
• AHA BLS, required.
• Current PALS or NRP certification may be required depending on unit of hire.
• Additional certifications may be required after hire.

Responsabilités

• Practices Respiratory Care under medical direction across the health care continuum and develops care plans.
• Provides Respiratory Care using a Family Centered Approach.
• Assesses patient cardiopulmonary needs and communicates with the care team.
• Stays involved in data collection, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary meetings.
