Job Summary and Qualifications

The staff respiratory therapist demonstrates proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary skills as trained. Responsible for executing assignments in compliance with hospital policies. May work with respiratory students in clinical care.

Qualifications Needed

• Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by NBRC.
• One-year experience preferred.
• Credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS provider certification from AHA or ARC.
