Job Summary and Qualifications

The Respiratory Therapist demonstrates proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care and multidisciplinary skills as trained. Responsibilities include executing assignments in compliance with hospital policies, possibly working with respiratory students.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by NBRC.
• Preferred: One year of respiratory care experience.
• Must be credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
