Job Summary and Qualifications

The staff respiratory therapist demonstrates proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary skills as defined by training and competency. Responsible for executing assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with respiratory students in clinical care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by NBRC.
• One-year experience in respiratory care preferred.
• Credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS provider certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
