Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate of Completion in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC/CoARTE approved program.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) - IDFPR (Illinois).
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) NBRC.
• BLS within 30 days - AHA.
• ACLS within 1 year - AHA.
• NRP within 1 year - AAP.
• PALS within 1 year - AHA.
• RRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities including all forms of respiratory therapy and related duties.
• Interprets and executes physician orders.
• Ventilator management and maintenance; set alarms and modes.
• Provide patient education and monitor therapy effectiveness.
• Document all therapy and patient care activities accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and team for optimal patient outcomes.
