Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls to provide prompt resident assessment and resuscitative care.
• Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory medications as ordered.
• Set up and maintain mechanical ventilation and wean when appropriate per physician orders.
• Educate residents and families for discharge to home and ensure bedside equipment is safe.
