Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer and coordinate treatment for patients across age groups. The role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, accurate documentation, and participation in staff meetings and safety initiatives.

The position emphasizes ventilator management, patient education, and adherence to care protocols within a high-quality care environment.

Formación

• Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Georgia.
• Associates Degree required.
• Respiratory Therapy training through an accredited school and registry examination completed.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with nurses and physicians about patient care, ventilator changes, and ABG results.
• Document treatments, orders, and patient records in EMR accurately.
• Manage and monitor ventilation for critical care patients; adjust care as needed.
• Provide floor therapy, patient education, and follow-up on delays in treatment.
• Support department operations and priorities to ensure quality patient care.
