Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree required
• RRT/RCP-State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner credential required

Responsabilités

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and interpret findings
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques
• Manage ventilation and airway support including invasive and noninvasive modes
• Educate patients and families and support the care team
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection-prevention standards are followed

Connaissances

ACLS timing within 90 days

BLS timing within 30 days

Neonatal Resuscitation within 6 months

PALS within 90 days
