HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital seeks a Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through routine and critical care, using advanced respiratory technology and ventilatory support.

You will work with a collaborative team, ensuring patient safety, equipment readiness, and adherence to infection prevention standards while contributing to ongoing professional growth and stability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in respiratory therapy or a closely related role.
• ACLS, BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications or eligibility required.
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
• NBRC-RRT or state licensure required within specified timelines.

Responsabilités

• Assess respiratory status and determine intervention needs.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, airway clearance, and other treatments across care settings.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, including invasive/noninvasive modes and patient monitoring.
• Educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain and clean equipment, ensure infection prevention and readiness.

Connaissances

3 years experience

ACLS within 6 months

BCLS within 30 days

NRP within 1 year

PALS within 6 months

Formation

Associate Degree

NBRC-RRT or State credentials
