Job summary

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year acute care experience; registry eligible.
• RCP license required in Maryland and/or DC; CRT required; RRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to department goals while adhering to policies and safety standards.
• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, spiritual and educational needs; document appropriately.
• Perform respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen, humidity, ventilators, bronchoscopy? (as applicable) and monitoring.
• Review electronic medical records and physician orders; participate in CPR when needed.

Education

Associate's degree in respiratory care (AMA accredited)
