Job summary

Responsibilities include performing therapies (oxygen, humidity, monitoring, ventilators, bronchial hygiene, spirometry, EKG, blood gas analysis), assessing patients, documenting, and assisting in CPR while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in AMA-accredited respiratory care program (AAS or higher)
• Bachelor's degree in related healthcare field preferred

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department goals and adheres to policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cultural needs and educational requirements; documents findings.
• Performs all respiratory therapy treatments and services (oxygen, humidity, monitoring, ventilators, bronchial hygiene, lung expansion, spirometry, EKG, blood gas analysis).
• Reviews EMRs and physician orders; participates in CPR; maintains airway, oxygenation, and ventilation if needed.
