Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory care (AMA-accredited).
• Bachelor's degree in related healthcare field preferred.
• Less than 1 year acute care experience; registry eligible required.
• RCP license in Maryland and/or DC required.
• CRT certification required; RRT preferred.
• CPR for healthcare providers required; ACLS/NRP/PALS within 1 year where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and standards.
• Assess patient needs and document educational requirements.
• Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment and services.
• Respond to CPR events and maintain airway support.
• Review EMRs and physician orders during shifts.
• Promote workflow efficiency and adherence to policies.
